Good Dog Carl by Alexandra Day

What can say about Good Dog Carl...?  Lots.  I found 2 books of Good Dog Carl at a neighborhood garage sale last year.  They are 2 small cardboard books with no words, and beautiful illustrations about a Rottweiler taking care of a baby.  Mommy and daddy can tell their own stories to go along with the pictures.  My kids want to read about Carl just about everyday.  This is a wonderful book to have especially if you own a dog with children.  Our family has a wonderful dog name Blue, and we can all relate to Carl.    Three weeks ago my 2 yr. old son found another book about Carl at the library.  I started to search the shelves and found many more books about Good Dog Carl.  Some of these books also had words to tell the story for you.  What I found out about the Author is she does all the illustrations, and lives here in Seattle, WA.  For all you animal lovers don't pass up a chance to read one of these wonderful tales to your kiddos.
